Overview
About Me
I love new experiences. There is something amazing about trying something completely foreign to me. I find immense pleasure in having a conversation with someone I have just met, trying a new food, or diving into a new sport head on. I am not afraid to be a beginner. I know that never being a beginner means never trying anything new.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am going on a study abroad to Ireland, and I am taking advantage of being in Europe by visiting as many countries as possible. I am drawn to couch surfing because I figure staying with a local of the country will help me learn the culture of the country the fastest. I am independent, but I also feel safer by the idea of having someone who knows the city looking out for me.
Interests
I am a very outdoorsy person. If I am traveling to a new place it is most likely because there is a mountain or some backcountry I want to tackle. I am very passionate about trail running, camping, mountain biking, and hiking, but my one true love is rock climbing. I am also an avid player of lacrosse, and I am the coach of the women's lacrosse team at my college.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music switches on me faster than I care to realize, but I will always happily listen to anything with an acoustic guitar or violin. My favorite Musician will always be Andrew Bird.
As for movies I am not very picky. It is hard to find a movie I don't like, but a couple of my favorites are Amelie, Into the Wild, and Remember the Titans.
There are too many books in the world, it is impossible to just choose a couple. I love memoirs and adventure books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent time in India working for a women's rights organization.
