I live and work in Boston, having moved here for graduate school where I studied social work. I work as a clinical and community social worker so I get to play a few different roles. I enjoy biking, hiking, rock climbing, gardening. I can't currently host couch surfers but hope to one day when I have more space. For now I appreciate those who welcome me in when I travel!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did a bicycle tour through Eastern Europe last summer and used the cyclist's equivalent to couchsurfing, Warmshowers, and had a great experience. Although I can't host now, I'll open my space one day to travelers.

I like singer songwriters like Iron and Wine, Ray Lamontagne, Jose Gonzalez, Doug Paisley, Bluegrass/folk, The Shins, The Bird and the Bee, older classics like Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Neil Young. I read historical fiction, self-improvement, spirituality. Right now I am reading Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates. I don't watch a lot of movies but when I do I like drama.
