Hi couch surfers, I'm Amanda. I'm 30 years old and I love to write and tell stories, particularly romance. I finally took the leap last fall and quit my regular 9-5 to be a freelance writer. I love to cook and bake - I make a pretty good curry and some fabulous cut-out cookies. I'm an animal lover and have a cat, Munchkin, who is not at all as small as his name implies. I love with my best friend , Lizzy. We've been besties for 10 years solid. She also has a cat, Angel. We travel together with our two cats.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got the chance to take a couple trips with my high school choir nod loved it, but that was far too long ago and I've been cooped up in a small town ever since. I want to see the country and meet new friends. And hopefully find some inspiration for stories along the way.

Interests

Writing! Telling stories, cooking, baking, crafting of all kinds (knitting, crocheting, painting, stained glass work, redoing furniture and other finds, and yes, even basket weaving). I love animals. I love music, old favorite movies (Disney - woohoo!) .
