Hi! My name is Amanda, I'm 25, from Woerden, The Netherlands. At the moment I'm travelling solo in South East Asia. And after I will visit Australia for 1.5 month and New Zealand for a month. Back at home I'm a primary school teacher, which I'm very passionate about! I also like to read, see new things, visit sport events, work out, bake cakes and desserts (preferably with a lot of chocolate!!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At the moment I'm traveling in Asia and staying in hostels, which I enjoy. The first of May i will arrive in Sydney. I'd like to travel up to Cairns in 1/1.5 months. I'm on couchsurfing because I would like to get locals who can tell (and maybe show) me the real Australia. This is my first time using couchsurfing and I'm very excited!

Interests

I very much enjoy visiting and watch a variety of sportetevent. I mostly like: ice skating, formula 1, hockey and (beach) volleyball. I don't like cooking but i do enjoy baking (and eating it after).
