About Me

I am a 30 year old woman currently living in Copenhagen, Denmark. I am passionate about people, traveling, adventuring, experiencing new things and having a positive impact. It's important to me to be always learning. Two years ago I was working as a preschool teacher in my home state and, though I loved my kids, I wanted to experience more of the world around me, but without just being a tourist. So I packed up my life and decided to combine my skillsets and my passion and moved to Denmark to become an au pair. Traveling, meeting new people and experiencing new cultures is more than just a fun idea to me- it is an integral part of how I live my life. It makes me a bigger, better, more educated and compassionate person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing for many reasons:

For me traveling is more than just "being a tourist". I want to truly feel like I can be a part of that place and experience through the people who call it home, whether it's for a weekend or for a more extended period of time.

Relationships and community are what makes the world go 'round. What better way to be a part of that than by investing in the lives and stories of people you can meet along your journey?

I'd rather the "currency" I offer be something lasting and more beneficial than a credit card deposit in the coffers of a corporate hotel chain. I'd like to share and invest in actual people.

Movies: Favorite movie of all time- Anna and the King. Love the colors, the landscapes the costumes, the tension...
Also love classic film, documentaries, BBC, fantasy, British comedy and action/adventure
