About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Make more amazing friends, all the time.

ABOUT ME

Hi!

I'm new to this site and pretty excited about it. I've recently made some friends who have had great experiences and I would love to look into it.

I love making new friends, late night conversations, live music, art, and nature. I'm also a pretty chill human being for the most part.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life for the moments of joy.

We should all step back and look at the bigger picture whenever we can. The more we learn from one another, ourselves, and the universe, the more value our lives hold... and the more beauty.

Also, I'm a pretty huge fan of the Tao Te Ching.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't been able to yet, but am hoping that starting soon I can host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None yet through this site. I have done a little couch surfing through friends in real life. I like it- it's a fun, free lifestyle and I think it brings people together in a way that can't really be duplicated.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:

Red Hot Chili Peppers, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Rage Against the Machine, Them Crooked Vultures, Animal Collective, Bright Eyes, Fiona Apple, Beatles, Bob Marley, Kings of Leon, Modest Mouse, White Stripes, Nirvana, The Dear Hunter... too many to name here.

Movies:

B rated horror films and critically acclaimed anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once in college, I got onto the roof of the campus's tallest building. The campus is in a valley in the Berkshires, and the view was incredible. I'll never that moment- it brings back so many great memories.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a bit about yoga, controlled breathing, meditation and Taoism.

I know a TON about anxiety management, and an unusual lot about abnormal psych of all kinds. I can be a very good listener when it comes to really personal stuff. I understand and welcome people of widely varying dispositions.

I also do a mean astrology and tarot reading. For fun.
