ABOUT ME

I grew up moving around in the States; I'm not a military brat, more of a gypsy soul.

While I hated moving when I was younger, it instilled in me a need to explore - I get itchy feet after a year or so and have to move someplace new.

After much time living all over the States, I lived in London for 4 months, Venice for about 2 years and Sicily for almost a year. Now that I'm back in the States, I can look back on those times with nothing but pure contentment - what a wonderful experience I had. I hope to travel again soon!

I am a pretty mellow person, but am always up for something new.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I once housed couchsurfers, and even did a bit of my own surfing whilst living in Italy, but now I'd like to meet up with others until I have another to place to share again.

I am not someone that can rattle off the names of obscure bands and artists, but I can appreciate them. I enjoy reading, typically fiction and the occasional my-life-was-jacked-up-and-I-did-something-crazy-to-better-myself books. I also enjoy movies, mainly comedies and indie films.

Following my heart, even if it was against everything I had thought and said before has been the most amazing and rewarding thing I have done, even if it didn't work out the way I had hoped.
