About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to laugh my head off with as many people as possible.

ABOUT ME

i am trying to be curious and brave. to confront and experience the strange and the beautiful. to feel uncomfortable and embarrassed and happy and sad. to experience how big the world is. to carry a sense of humor with me, always. and boy am i grateful for each day that i learn something new and for each smile i receive in the process. i would like to meet you.

PHILOSOPHY

be brave and humorous. meet as many people as possible. see as many places as possible. LOVE.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

my two friends and i stayed with lovely couchsurfers in asheville, nc. now, not only do we have memories of the great city of asheville, but also of the beautiful and interesting people that so generously lent us their couches. i think that makes a traveling experience more complete, when you can remember and be grateful to the people that made it better.

my friend and i also couchsurfed in halifax, nova scotia. we stayed with two lovely hosts our first night in nova scotia and then we travelled further north. we were unsure of our itinerary towards the end of our travels, so we contacted our previous hosts last minute for a couch and they welcomed us again. we stayed up for hours laughing and playing games. this level of hospitality made me realize that couchsurfing really allows you to see how kind people can be.

Interests

i love music, walking through a city with headphones in, riding my bike really fast and sometimes falling down, reading, keeping a journal, taking photos of everything, looking at photos that other people took, getting to know and having endless conversation with good people, indulging in guilty pleasures like big hamburgers and 90's music, sitting in the grass, making fruit smoothies.
