I am an adventurous person. I love the outdoors. Hiking, climbing, longboarding, and water sports are the best for me. I am willing to try ALMOST anything once. I also like to dance a lot and I like at least a glass of wine at dinner (at least is the key word) =) I am curious about different cultures and love to learn about different people and customs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first legitimate Couchsurfing experience in LA in April 2013. Kim Wang was my host and she was absolutely amazing! She hosted two other friends and I and is a very active host. She took Polaroid pictures of us and added them to her hosting space on her refrigerator. She had at least a dozen others along with their names, cities they were from, and date hosted. Kim is very kind, openhearted, and just everything you could want in a host. I have met up with Couchsurfers locally and met them randomly. All of my experiences among Couchsurfers have been positive. This is definitely a great community!

I spend my time being active and reading. I like to learn so studying is a huge thing to me. I also travel a lot and like to look for hidden treasures in cities and in the middle of nowhere. I am passionate about social change and community outreach as well. Currently, I am studying to become a clinical psychologist and am interested in real estate investing.

Funny movies are my flicks; Grandma's Boy, Dazed and Confused, Funny People, Happy Gillmore, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Billy Madison, etc (I really like Adam Sandler). I love cartoons too - TV shows and movies. I am currently a bit obsessed with Adventure Time right now. I love drug/mafia films like Scarface, Goodfellas, Pulp Fiction, and Blow too. I will watch almost anything except horror films though--I hate horror films (but will go to a haunted house any day!). I love to read too. I used to read a lot of novels but memoirs and biographies are my preference. Chasing the Flame by Samantha Power, In My Skin by Kate Holden, and many rock star biographies are in my past book line-up. I love all types of music...seriously. Country, house, hip-hop, R&B, rap, techno, international (French, Arabic, reggaeton, African, etc.), oldies (I freaking love Edith Piaf and Ray Charles), classical, etc. If it makes me move, I like it =] Bringing along new tunes with you will make me super happy because I love discovering new music.

I was awestruck when I climbed South Mountain by my house at 4am to watch a meteor shower. I was also at awe when I went cliff diving in Hawaii; at Fossil Creek, Arizona; and in Newquay, UK. Experiencing Las Hogueras de San Juan en Alicante, Espana was the craziest week of my life. Living in different countries is definitely the most eye-opening experience for me.
