"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;
The courage to change the things I can;
And the wisdom to know the difference"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed couches in Canada, the UK and Indonesia.
My goal is to see the world AND avoid tourist traps, thus far I've found couchsurfing a really effective way to do that because locals are the true heart of every city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't hosted yet (probably because I'm in such an inconvenient location for surfers) but I have surfed couches in Scotland, Wales, England and Indonesia. They were all really great experiences, I plan to do it again for my next trip, CAN'T WAIT! Look forward to hosting sometime in the future :)
Interests
I am a wonk, I love all things nerdy.
I love spending time with my family and travelling as much as possible!
- traveling
- law
Music, Movies, and Books
-Movies: everything from Casablanca to Avengers.
-Music: a little of everything.
-Books: classic novels (Austen, Dickens, etc.), political science, autobiographies, The Economist magazine, etc
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rode an elephant in Vietnam, hunted Nessy in Scotland and saved two lives in Canada... All in a day's work!
Teach, Learn, Share
-Teaching: Anything I know is yours for the taking, just ask :)
-Learning: I'm addicted to learning new/interesting things. Not too picky about the genre... Unless its about the Kardashians, the less I know about that the better. Dont even know if that's spelt it correctly but I refuse to google it.
