I am a very easy going and polite person. My friends would say that I'm funny, and that I am a very honest individual. I am warm and when I do care, I care deeply. I try to help people when and where I can. I'm reliable, and am very steady in regards to my emotions and demeanor.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted and surfed. I have also attended Couchsurfing meetups and events in both my hometown and abroad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed on many couches throughout Europe and one in New Zealand. I'm hooked! I have met such lovely people many of whom I now consider my friends. The fact that people are so willing to go out of their way to help complete and utter strangers with absolutely no material gain for themselves has brightened my general outlook on life, and heightened my once waning opinion of humanity. Thanks couchsurfing for making the world a better place to live!

Interests

I love whiskeys, bourbons and beer, particularly dark beer. I love trying new food, and sampling new variations of food I have already tasted. I thoroughly enjoy cooking and giving new recipes a go. I'm a reader, and always have been, currently reading the biography of Edith Piaf, whom I am finding, I deeply admire. I enjoy nearly all types of films, and love comedy shows. I try to see stand up comedians whenever I can, and think it is important to support these kinds of artists. Once I get comfortable enough, I love to have deep and meaningful conversations. By the same token, I love talking about nonsense and engaging in banter. I really like to joke, mostly by teasing people. It may sound mean, but its my twisted way of showing affection. Mostly, my passion is to travel, thus why I joined this website community!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in Thailand and was bamboo rafting in Chiang Mai. It was awesome!! It was such a hot, humid day and drifting on the water was such a much needed relief. People who resided in houses along the river would smile and wave to us as they sipped their beers and ate, and small children who were playing in a one part of the river all ganged up on my friends and I and got us completely drenched. It was simple fun, relaxing and no water ride in any amusement park could ever be better!
