I'm not afraid to go anywhere or do anything on my own. Nor am I afraid to speak my mind and follow my dreams. It's my mission to make sure everyone around me knows that they are capable of accomplishing their dreams.

I live for the experience and in the moment at all times. When it comes to traveling I truly believe one can learn more about themselves and the rest of the world purely through travel.

The only person that should control your happiness is yourself. If you want to be happy, then be.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I fully engage in conversation with every international person whom I come into contact with. Seems crazy, but I go to school downtown in New York City, which in many ways is a giant melting pot; and I wouldn't have it any other way!
I feel like I already have something in common with people studying, living, and vacationing abroad- a love for travel, discovery, and new experiences. That simple fact alone, makes me love travelers instantly!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had someone couchsurf at my house for almost 2 months. I had never met him prior to him living with me, but he was friend of a friend's. It was a great experience for him, I introduced him to my friends, he came out with us, briefly dated one of my best friends, I got him a job. It was pretty fun always having a friend around.

Interests

Sports: particularly rugby and ice hockey. I love listening to loud music especially while driving in my car! I'm a movie whore and my family means the world to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Adele, Britney Spears, The Script, Rise Against, Mumford and Sons, Tiesto, Deadmau5, Bass Nectar, Skrillex, Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta... I basically listen to every genre of music, but I'm currently really into house and trance.

Movies: Pirates of the Caribbean- At World's End, Transformers 1 & 3, Wanted, One Day, P.S. I Love You, Dirty Dancing, Disney's Pocahontas, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, The Notebook

Books: Wanderlust, The Help, Water for Elephants, Twilight Saga.
