About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live and not exist ... See Auroras live!

ABOUT ME

-----

7 continents at 27 years old.
Highly addicted to traveling and extreme roller coasters !
I am so fickle and most times, I do get bored easily. Therefore I adore changes, deep and witty conversations, meeting new people and learning new things. Reading is the only thing I can be immersed in and not feel like I need a change in activity. Unfortunately, I never fail to fall prey to chocolate which has been my constant favorite snack/meal/comfort-food for the past 20 years.

My friends all say that I'm an extremely, terribly random person.

When i'm hungry, i'm grumpy and roll my eyes at everything until there's food in my stomach then i'll give you the biggest and most genuine smile in the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is meant to be enjoyed responsibly and too short to harbor negative emotions for too long. There is never an end to learning and meeting new people.

I can waste food but not dessert.

"I can resist anything except temptation"
"Never do today what can be done tomorrow"
- Oscar Wilde

and when I get into trouble ...

I tell myself "Never do tomorrow what can be done today".

Curiosity killed the cat but not the human. i'm still alive so i take it as a good trait to have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

To help facilitate travelers coming to Singapore

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It started in America, totally warmed my heart by meeting such sweet and amazing people. Continued in Japan and India and never once has it failed to amaze me.

Update 2018: I don't wanna use CS just for free accommodation. Honestly, I believe in long term and genuine friendships with my surfers or with my hosts. Many of them, we've met up multiple times and we are growing up and figuring about life together. This is my definition of true friendship. CS has brought some amazing and quality friends in my life and I sincerely hope it stays this way.

Interests

Taking a back seat, listening and watching people

Sitting on the peripherals of society brings great contentment to me.

Too many; we can talk about this when we meet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in the mountains
Meeting friends / people i connected with again. it's one of the most heartwarming feelings =)
Disconnecting and living without wifi in the nature
Listening and having good and meaningful conversations
-
Walked with lions
Chased by cops (more than 5 miles)
Chased by dogs twice in Taiwan on 2 different trips (i still love all of them)
Accidentally ate Spider web (this isn't exactly amazing)
Sand boarding in the Namib desert
Rode through the highest motorable pass in the world twice
Slept on the roof to catch the meteor showers
Seeing the milky way over and over again
Did a high altitude trek in Bolivia where I had food poisoning and mild altitude sickness. I don't know how I survived that
Cycling down the death road in Bolivia
Hitchhiking
The Huayhuash trek in Peru (nearly died at 5300m)
Skydiving in Queenstown from 12,000ft. Freefall at 200km/hr was the BEST. FEELING. EVER!
