About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to accept the things I cannot change, have the courage to change the things I can and find the wisdom to know the difference.
ABOUT ME
I've been living in London for 5 years and am currently balancing a hectic work life with trying to improve my private life through rediscovering London.
I have travelled a lot around the world (but not enough), but sometimes you forget you can have a multicultural experience in your own backyard!
PHILOSOPHY
"Failure is not about things not turning out as I wanted them. Failure is when I don't attempt the things which in my heart I know I want to do."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For now, due to work commitments, I'm looking to just meet up with CSer's passing through London who want to meet for a coffee/drink/tour of the sites/go to museums/discover what different parts of London has to offer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had the pleasure of doing a little hosting and have been hosted by some amazing people. The openess, helpfulness and generosity of people was astounding.

Interests
I'm pretty easy going so find I get on with most people.
I like travelling (if you've not already guessed!) so am interested in people who are also interested in different cultures and languages. Love languages, and so have even decided to start learning Spanish at evening classes!
Can be energetic, and have great new year plans to go to fitness classes. Love renting a Boris Bike and pedalling around the parks of London.
Also like staying in to watch a movie (or a marathon of 4 like I did this weekend!!) with some red wine and my housemates.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Done and seen many an amazing thing and know there's more to come.
One of my favourite places in the world is London. Standing on Waterloo Bridge when there's hardly any traffic and even fewer people with St Paul's Cathedral, The Tate Modern and the Oxo Tower on one side, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye on the other side, watching the sunrise gives me goosebumps cos it's pretty darn amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook a mean Shepherds Pie and delicious Apple Crumble (English food's better than you think!).
I want to get to know people from all corners of the globe, travel, learn languages but more importantly learn about different cultures and ways of life.
