I am fun and friendly! I simply enjoy life and exploring! This used to be a joint account with my friend Jessica, but now it is only me, Amanda. Sorry for any confusion, but I was unable to change my name.

PHILOSOPHY

Musica, film e libri

Books:: The Confederacy of Dunces, 1984, The People's History of The United States, anything Kurt Vonnegut, the Hitch Hikers guide to the Galaxy. I love books that make me laugh out loud, shed streams of tears, and think deeply.

Music: Arcade fire, Father John Misty, Jack White, Neutral Milk Hotel, Alt-j, Yo-Yo Ma, Bon Iver, Janelle Monae, Modest Mouse, Of Monsters and Men, Gypsy Music, Irish music. I love music with lots of instruments that make me want to jump around and dance.

Movies: lots of stuff from the 80's like the Goonies. Coen brother movies like Fargo. Or interesting light hearted movies like little miss sunshine or Juno. I also am really into HBO TV shows and Adventure time. The first songs I learned on my ukulele are from Adventure Time.

I worked at an animal rescue center in the rain forest of Ecuador.

I rode elephants everyday for almost 2 months.

Amanda can teach/share: Kindergarten through sixth grade education. working in schools and with youth. The culture and life style of Minnesota. For example: snowboarding, hockey, cooking, camping, speaking English, etc.
