ABOUT ME

I am Amanda Lee, I am a HongKonger. I am working in Corporate Affairs at an international company, someone who is passionate in engaging colleagues to do meaningful volunteering work and hopefully could make some difference in my society. I was graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong majored in Sociology. I am very proud that I had the opportunity to spend a year of university exchange program in Korea in 2011, and 3 months in Europe to 12 cities travelling as a backpacker with my boyfriend who is my husband now. And currently I am planning to explore more about Asia, and will be travelling in Japan during 3 -17 Jul for 2 weeks.

I am an outgoing, optimistic and active person who always curious about this world and want to know this world better. It is why I study sociology, and love travelling a lot. I also sometimes love to be quiet so I like reading, listening to music and watching movies. I like long run for quiet time to think, like badminton. I am also openminded and like to make friends especially from different cultures and backgrounds.^^

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate this because my exchange friends here. They always positively share the experience of couchsurfing. It is an amazing and valuable thing to me when I could experience local cultures and share stories with people from different background.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started in 2011 when I was in my exchange in Korea. The very first time was to Jeju of Korea before returning HK, It was really good and positive memory there. I also travelled Europe with couch surfing, every people I met are now my friends. Details could be seen from my comments for my hosts.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The 4 clear seasons in Korea in Hong Kong. The visit I have in volunteering people in Cambodia who made me cried. The bigger sky in every other countries I have ever seen except Hong Kong.
