About Me

Music, food adventures, travel, dancing, shenanigans, and a penchant for the absurdly hilarious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since studying abroad in London for a semester in 2007, I've had the travel bug. I know what it's like to come to a completely new country, without knowing anybody, so I'd like to give people a good, local experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for the first time in 2007, in Italy, and had a great experience! I've also spent many a night on the couches of various friends. In London, we hosted a few CSers.

Interests

Music! Going to concerts, especially. Travelling, of course. Meeting new people. You!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: WAY too many bands to list here. But some of my favorite bands include: Hope of the States, The Beatles, The Libertines, The Strokes, The White Stripes, Kaiser Chiefs, Delays, Bloc Party, The Pipettes, Razorlight, and way too many more. Mostly British rock, punk, and indie stuff. http://www.last.fm/user/amandabomb
Movies: Mostly independent offbeat comedies and dramas. Not into action movies at all. Almost Famous, Love Actually, About A Boy, Dumb and Dumber, Little Miss Sunshine, Rent, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Disney movies, and more.
Books: Harry Potter will forever hold a special place in my heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking a break from filming a documentary in Nicaragua, and running down the steep, volcanic ash side of the Cerro Negro volcano. Scared the crap out of me, but it was one of the most exhilarating things that I've ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will introduce you to all kinds of new music. I want to learn how to speak Spanish fluently. I will share plenty of laughs :)

Countries I’ve Visited
