About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy Bristol

ABOUT ME

I'm a restless, curious and creative person, who just moved to Bristol to find out how it is to live in another country!
I enjoy meeting people but also to have a lot of time to myself, to write or draw or read a good book. Usually I'm really up for trying new stuff, and my latest intresst is rock climbing, which is a bit hard seeing I'n scared of hights!

I'm on couchsurfing simply because I love traveling, but hate reglar "turist tours". I like to meet new people in the cities I visit, and hopefully make new friends "across borders" as it's called.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel is a state of mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been trying to go to couchsurfing meetups in cities a travel in, and in Stockholm I host whenever I have the time and space.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few people back in Stockholm, and never had a bad experience! Just fun, interesting people whom I enjoyed spending time with.

Now, when I'm couchsurfing myself, I've only been hosted by people that are both friendly and fun to hang out with.

Interests

Write, play guitar, photagraphing, environmental issues, drawing, reading,
travel, and much more!

Music, Movies, and Books

Bob Dylan, Hoffmaestro, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, The Ark, Håkan Hellström, Patti Smith, Nick Drake, Tom Waits, The Velvet Underground.

"The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho is still my unbeaten favorite among books, but "Egalias daughters" is another favorite. "Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy" is simply genius. I'm reading "Just Kids" by Patti Smith right now, and I just love it..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lots of things!

I went walking 10 km on the Great wall of China! That was perhaps one of the most amazing things I've done in my life...

Watching the stars from a rooftop right in the middle of Brighton during my first hitchhiking trip in Europe...

Sleeping under the stars in an abandon boat on Shimei Bay in China.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm...How about trying to teach you some Swedish? I don't know...I'm a fairly good cook in the kitchen, I know how to make OK food out of basicly nothing. And I also know how to make roses out of napkins...Does it sound interesting? I don't know, haha!

What I would really like to learn is how to play guitar. Also I try to do as much photagraphing as possible, but are always looking for people who can teach me more about it.
