ABOUT ME

I have been living in Berlin for 9 years, originally from Australia. I work as a barista, and love pouring hearts in cappuccinos hundreds of times a week. I love cooking and eating and working in the hospitality industry has taught me a lot about the role food plays in connecting people - whether it be cooking, hosting or enjoying it yourself. It plays an important role in my daily life and when I travel it takes center stage.

I particularly enjoy good conversations, and think that this is one of the best things in life - whether it be with an old friend or someone you just met. I never want to stop learning new things, and hope to start drum lessons this summer. I practice yoga often, enjoy riding my bike and want to smash the patriarchy :)

Many years ago I was very surprised by the generosity and fun times I recieved from my first CSing around Scandinavia/Eastern europe trip! Although I am unable to host in Berlin due to my housing situation, I am more than happy to meet people to show them around as best I can.
