PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. I acknowledge, understand, and appreciate the fact that we are all different from one another.
Race, religion, sexual preference, social status, tax bracket, political stand, personality type, etc. are all things that make up how we identify ourselves and with other people. And it's a great thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a house not far from downtown OKC right in the Paseo Arts District. I have a couple couches that I can lend to fellow CSers for rest! I've done a little couch surfing, and eventually will do more. Until then, I'm very happy to host!

I am generally a pretty laid back person. Although I can party and dance all night, I also consider myself a morning person with an affinity for nature. Hiking, snorkeling/swimming, beach combing, dancing, drinking, story-telling, painting, enjoying, eating, cooking, sleeping...

Music, Movies, and Books

Huge movie fan, but haven't had time to get into the latest and greatest. But I love films that are well written. Coming of age, drama, action, documentaries, independent, foreign... The only types of movies I avoid like the plague are rom-coms, chick flicks, and most movies geared towards children.
Music is something that really moves me in a big way. Too much of what I like to list, so I can name a few things that I'm really not into:
Nickelback, Puddle of Mud, most country...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I witnessed my mom start and finish school from the beginning to her post doc. Earning her PhD as a single mother of 4 was the most amazing accomplishment from an amazing person. REALLY grateful I was able to see that happen for her.
I was fortunate enough to be able to watch Radiohead perform live two weekends in a row. That was huge for me, because I freaking adore their music.
