About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find fascinating people. To enjoy life. To make it back to the States with something left in my bank account.

ABOUT ME

Just a twenty-something trying to figure things out. I am nice and usually happy. Definitely open-minded. I like hearing and telling stories. I have a tendency to bring conversations to "the next level," which can be good and bad ;)

PHILOSOPHY

You just have to know where your own "north" is (a person, a place, a commitment, a principle, a desire, a hobby, etc.), and your personal compass will help you make it out of any mess you find yourself in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I signed up a while ago to host people when I was living in Chicago, but no one ever contacted me (probably because I wasn't verified). Now I am traveling and would like to find some couches!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have used this site a few times for places to stay and have had good experiences overall. All the hosts have been great.

Interests

Art and design, water sports and just being near the ocean, beer, bonfires, all sorts of food, trying new things, feminism, social sciences, philosophy, theology, authenticity, love, gelato, languages, travel, reading, my cat.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of stuff, so it's easier to say what I don't like - which is sci-fi, heavy metal, most rap, and romance novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've been able to do is start a student organization at my university that supported women's empowerment. It is more important to me than anything else I've done or seen.

Teach, Learn, Share

Brown sugar and sour cream makes a good dip for strawberries.
