Hey! I am Amanda from Canada. I've been on a pretty wild adventure thus far! During my 20’s I travelled far and wide, mostly out of a backpack, Couchsurfing, hitchhiking, chicken bussin, and everything in between. While I was working a ski season in Japan, I met my now husband, Stefan from Australia.
We like to get amongst nature, meet travellers and like minded people and look for adventure!
We travel when we can, we’ve launched a seasonal business in Canada that allows us to take winters off.
We turned our airstream trailer into a mobile bar, The Mobile Mixers!
We typically spend the summers in Ontario in the green belt where we have 180 wineries and many craft breweries.
I’m an event planner, craft bartender with a green thumb, We have a beautiful garden and I make most of my cocktails from scratch coming out of backyard, Guess you could call it from garden to cocktail.

We hope to meet similar people along the way, ones who like to share time, stories, thoughts, ideas. We like to share meals with those hosting and id be so happy to cook for you! Hoping to gain local knowledge about swimming holes, fishin spots, hikes, trails>>> alll the good stuff!

We have a dog Bailey, she’s a beagle. She has travelled from Nova a scotia all the way to the island with us. She’s a pretty funny dog and rarely gets left behind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing in hopes to meet new people, and to give back to other travelers. Ideally when I travel I want to meet locals who are keen to show me around and help to gain new experiences. Im always down to make friends, practice cooking & new cuisines and sharing meals ;) Good vibes

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I went to Costa Rica on a two week trip and stayed for 5 months. Hiked a few mountains, getting to the top is always an accomplishment!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Ill cook you up something yummy, share stories, laughs, friendship. The accomodation I can offer is basic but super comfortable :) Look at the photos !! But at least you will have your own space and access to all the facilities!
