ABOUT ME

I am very laid-back and easy-going, fun- and experience-loving. I'm very friendly and I love meeting new people from all over! I am a travel nurse in the USA nine months out of the year and I spend the other three traveling and doing volunteer work wherever the opportunity presents or my fancy takes me :)

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a collection of experiences only as valuable as you make them. I aim to make my life as valuable and fulfilling as I can through seeing the world and helping as many people as I can along the way.

Anyway I can! I love cooking and baking, and I am more than happy to clean and chip in around the house in any way needed! I'm very low maintenance, but I love showing my gratitude by helping out as much and in any way possible! I am an experienced seamstress. I am also a registered nurse; although I cannot provide medical care or advice on my trip, it comes in handy when childcare services are needed :)

Interests

Travel (obviously), sight-seeing, photography, hiking, outdoorsy and touristy stuff in particular. I love going out for a cocktail, dancing, seeing shows (music and theater), trying new food. I also enjoy more relaxing activities, like cooking, movies, reading (when I have time).. There isn't much I don't enjoy :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: 50-60s R&B and Soul (Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Ray Charles, etc), 60-70s Rock (Bob Dylan, Elvis Presley, The Beach Boys, Elvis Costello). A lot of oldies.. some newer music, Indie, Chillstep (The XX, Blackmill, The Antlers, Band of Horses). However, I love hearing new music! Especially live music, and I'm constantly discovering new stuff I like.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Three cross-country USA road trips, Australia, Mexico, UK, and Iceland, all solo trips!

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an experienced seamstress and would love to share my skills with anyone who wants to learn! I'm also a nurse and enjoy sharing basic first aid knowledge, and hope to participate in as much volunteer work as possible.
