ABOUT ME

I love to travel and to visit someone who knows whats up in their city! I work hard and play hard. I love to go hiking, walking and wandering. Material things are not as interesting to me as experiences, friends, conversation, dancing, exploring. Through other travel programs besides CS, I've had several visitors from Russia, Japan, Iraq, Kazakstan, Siberia, Serbia and Brazil stay with me and my family in the US, and I've gone to visit some of them. I live in Raleigh, NC. I appreciate and enjoy opinionated, passionate and outspoken people.

PHILOSOPHY

Personal philosophy? I would say I work hard and play hard. I think working gives you stability and truly makes you appreciate what you have. Golden Rule - treat others like you want to be treated.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Though we are all human each with our own funny and different personalities, if you are on CS, you seem to be more open to new friends and enjoyable life experiences. I've hosted, surfed, gone to meet-ups in several different cities while traveling and I've met cool people out for dinner while I'm out traveling.

Interessi

I love to go do stuff - dancing, walking around, shopping, hiking, swimming, sports, water skiing, snow skiing, house remodeling, camping, boating, kayaking, laying out by the pool, cooking, biking, laughing. I don't generally sit too much around unless I'm reading.

I travel as much as possible - going hiking 20 minutes out of town, heading to a local brewery or winery, flying to Istanbul or Belize on a cheap ticket!

Musica, film e libri

Mostly I like music that makes you want to dance and / or sing out loud - it could be pop on the radio, hip hop, house, funk, r&b or something like Moon Hooch, Beats Antique or Jill Scott.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Traveling to an island near the equator in Brazil was the most amazing thing I've done so far in my lifetime. What a beautiful place!! I hope to continue to have more amazing trips in my future.
