ABOUT ME

My favorite things are parades, festivals, and fireworks. If all three of these things can be combined it would be the best day EVER. I am a big fan of planning, while remaining open to spur of the moment opportunities.

PHILOSOPHY

This quote from Elizabeth Gilbert pretty much sums it up right now:
But is it such a bad thing to live like this for just a little while? Just for a few months of one’s life, is it so awful to travel through time with no greater ambition than to find the next lovely meal? Or to learn how to speak a language for no higher purpose than that it pleases your ear to hear it? Or to nap in a garden, in a patch of sunlight, in the middle of the day, right next to your favourite fountain? And then to do it again the next day?”

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I have never "officially" couchsurffed before, I have slept on plenty of friends, family and acquaintances couches as well as had many of the same appear on my couch.

I think I have about 50 'favorite' bands and it usually is the most recent concert I have been to. Top of the list right now is: Passion Pit, FUN, Lana del Rey, Kimbra, JT, Adam Levine, and Vampire Weekend
