I am a life enthusiast. That might sound cheesy but I am just happy to be alive and fortunate enough to build my life around the things I love. That said I love nature. I need to be outside at least once during the day and breathe in some fresh air. That got definitely harder after returning from Finland to the big city of Frankfurt :D I am a feminist. During my studies (American studies and Sociology) I found my passion in Women and Gender Studies. It´s amazing how sociology can open your eyes to the ways society functions. I am a vegan. This is also linked to studies in the way that I became aware of all the injustice in the world. And I now try to balance out some of this injustice ;)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

What I remember most about my travels are the people that I have met. And the most important lesson I have learned is that you are never alone. Even on my Scandinavian roadtrip, just me and my car, driving through four different countries, I was barely alone. Travelling and meeting all those different people has given me so much. And I still want to meet new people and experience a new place or country with them and give other people the chance to get these experiences themselves. And that is why I am on couchsurfing ;)

I have couchsurfed here and there during the last two years. So I have quite a bit experience and so far it was only positive :)

My favorite music? That´s a tough one.. I like mainstream Pop and Muscial songs. but I also love to get to know new forms of music and can listen to anything :)
Books... Unfortunately I don´t have much motivation to read besides my studies. When I am done with my assignments and hundred pages of academic papers, I kind of want to spend my freetime without reading more ;) But my favorite books are still the "Ink Heart" books.
I love Action movies. James bond, Mr. and Ms. Smith, and of course Mission Impossible are on top of my list..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I drove by car from Germany to Finland where I spend a year studing abroad. That was the most fun roadtrip I have had so far. I started in Frankfurt and went up to Hamburg to spend the night. I then took the ferry to Kopenhagen and drove across to Malmö. There I drove by the south coast of Sweden and had a view on the ocean as well as the landside. That was such an amazing experience. Further, I drove up to Stockholm and from there took the ferry to Turku in Finland where I lived for the next year :D

I am a fan of talking and discussing. Especially with my passion for Gender Studies and my chosen lifestyle to be vegan I have some explaining to do on a daily basis :D But I really enjoy it. It really enriches my knowledge to discuss and share opinions, thoughts and dreams with people all over the world.
