About Me

CURRENT MISSION

“For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move.” Robert Louis Stevenson

ABOUT ME

I am just finishing a year at SOAS in London studying International Studies and Diplomacy for an MA. Looking forward to getting a job in the future and starting a whole new chapter with (hopefully!) a career!

I studied at Edinburgh University in Scotland for 4 years learning Spanish and Arabic. During that time I spent a year in Cairo and Madrid.

I love learning languages, I think they're the key to understanding everyone around the world...

I love travelling, especially to places where I speak the language where I can practise and get to know people. I always want to see new places, but I think it's important to spend time everywhere instead of rushing through, I want to go deeper into every country than just scratching the surface.

PHILOSOPHY

Interests

Music, Dancing - I learnt some salsa in Argentina and have always wanted to learn more forms of dance.

Reading - travel books, historical fiction, fiction, have to mention a great book - "On the Couch" by Fleur Britten was my first introduction to Couchsurfing, books on the Middle East/Islam. Philosophy and Sociology also really interest me.

Socialising, meeting new people, getting to know other cultures, learning languages.

Comedy: I like watching stand-up comedy, comedians I like are: Michael Mcintyre (MASSIVE fan), Eddie Izzard, Hugh Dennis, Dara O'Brien, Simon Amstell, loads more....

I have always wanted to learn: kitesurfing, breakdancing and capoeira and cocktail flairing!
