About Me

Hi :) I was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, and have also lived Newcastle Upon Tyne UK for my semester abroad in 2015.

After being back in Sydney for 3 years, working in marketing for a hotel company, I've recently quit my job and have bought a ticket to Europe where I hope to pursue my travels!

Now, I'm living in Amsterdam for the remainder of the year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that Couchsurfing allows for a different way of travelling. As much as I enjoy staying in hostels and meeting people that way, I think Couchsurfing allows for an opportunity to integrate and mingle with the locals more so, enabling a deeper insight into the places I'd be visiting.

Interests

Love going on adventures, love exploring new things. Don't mind the occasional heavy night out either! I also enjoy eating food (all sorts), I love listening to music and people watching (not in a freaky way). I also enjoy watching movies and listening to people tell stories/engrossing conversations about the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of music, movies and books as it really depends on my mood.

Mostly, I listen to indie and folk music. I enjoy watching almost everything, though my favourite movie has to be Good Will Hunting. When it comes to books, I can't say I've found a favourite author yet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job and living life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I firmly believe we learn something new everyday, most of which comes from the people we encounter. There is a saying that "we are the sum of all people we have ever met" (Dirk Wittenborn) and I hope that the people I meet will learn something from me, in one way or another.

Saying that, I don't really have any identifiable talent... I can possibly teach you some Aussie slang but that's about it haha.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Aussie slang?

Maybe just good company, a good laugh, I could try cooking you something but I'm still in the process of learning at the moment!
