Hi! I'm Amanda.
My current life (as of January 2026) is consumed with raising two wild little boys and starting many home projects including flipping some furniture every once in a while. I love to visit new places, and our family goal is to explore more of our beautiful state of WA and the surrounding PNW.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has been an amazing community to come in contact with, from my first year or so traveling around trying to find out where I belong for a little while, to the travelers I have since been able to host while on their journeys to and through the place I currently call home. Positive people who are excited about life and learning from others is what gives me energy. To let a perfect stranger into your life, if only for a brief time, is to open a door to the entire world.

**We have not been hosting very often since our first kiddo was born in 2020, but we are easing back into it with some renewed energy for sharing our space and meeting new friends from around the world. Please understand that we will not be accepting guests without positive and relatively recent references. Our kids wake up anytime between 5:30am and 7am, and they are not quiet. We would love to host other families that are traveling with kids.

Interests

Exploring new places, hiking, meeting new people, art, road trips, yoga, snowshoeing, coffee shop sitting, and attempting to garden.

I used my Rhino Eyes to spot a Momma rhino and her baby in Kruger National Park in South Africa.

Adventure ideas, places I have been, basically anything but my toothbrush.
