Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Become a Maritime Archaeologist and visit a new country every year.
ABOUT ME
I'm pretty quiet and introverted, but enjoy being around people. I'm a Christian: Lutheran. I'm very organized, patient, a perfectionist, bookaholic, passionate, and eager to see the world!
PHILOSOPHY
I want to see the world and the people that God created. I am a Christian and try to live my life by Christ's teachings. I try to love others as myself and turn the other cheek. I know I am a sinner, but God loves me anyway and gives me grace and mercy I do not deserve.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to surf, but I am not able to host. I live with other people so it's just not my couch to lend, sorry!
Interests
I read a LOT - not just fiction but non-fiction, too. I graduated UNC Charlotte with a B.A. in Applied Anthropology. I concentrated in archaeology and am very interested in all aspects of archaeology. I am planning on getting my Master's degree in Maritime Archaeology. I love playing piano and listening to music. I love watching movies (but, then who doesn't?) and can speak fluently in movie quotes.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love pretty much all genres of music except "screamo" and rap, but I'll listen to anything once. My favorite books are ones with unexpected twists at the end. I enjoy adventure books. My favorite movies seem to be action comedies, but I love the movies, especially, that have an impact on me - that get me thinking. I watch foreign movies all the time. I also geek out over Marvel superhero movies and pretty much anything made by BBC.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm eager to meet new people and experience new cultures through a native local who can offer me a place to stay and perhaps take me around the town and show me the local people's favorite spots while throwing in a few touristy spots as well (they're touristy for a reason, after all). I'm clean, organized, and very respectful of my host as a guest - I treat their property the way I would want mine treated. I have a personal rule to always leave things as I found them or better than.
