Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience different cultures throughout the world and see the cities through local eyes.
ABOUT ME
Fun and easygoing, I enjoy laughing and social activities.
Love music, festivals and low key gigs of upcoming bands and also don't mind a bit of jazz/blues with a glass of Pinot!
Traveling is a huge part of my life and I really want to experience as much as I can - preferably before I have one foot in the grave!
I'm quite adventurous and enjoy trying my hand at different sports and activities.
PHILOSOPHY
The wise man who behaves like a child is always filled with bliss.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Looking for hosts, travelers and tour guides throughout UK/EU.
I would love to spend time with locals to gain a different view of the city they live in, and not just the tourist perspective.
Currently traveling until early next year so unable to host until I return.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
For the past few years we have had a number of travelers stay with us in Melbourne, most of which end up staying much longer than intended, and some of which are still there!

Music, Movies, and Books
I can't pick favourites! But I do read a lot, I love reading biographies and books based on real events such as 'The Butcher' or 'Marching Powder' other favourite books include 'The Book Theif' and 'The Kite Runner' ...I have just started reading 'Game of Thrones' since its all everyone is talking about!
Movies - I love everything from 'Amelie' to 'Lock Stock' to 'My Fair Lady'
Music - I'm loving 'Flume' and 'Alt J' at the moment.. I listen to rock and indi-rock type of music and listen to the all time favs quite a bit too. 'The Doors' 'The Beatles' 'Pearl Jam' to name a few.
Live bands like 'Melbourne Ska Oechestra' and 'The Bamboos' are so much fun to dance to.
