Overview
About Me
I'm an English teacher living and working in Phoenix, Arizona. I love the desert but I also enjoy leaving during the fall, winter and summer breaks, even if being a teacher means I need to budget.
People say I am respectful and hospitable, and I sure hope they’re correct! I enjoy specialty coffee and will make a point to visit at least two coffee shops everywhere I visit.
PHILOSOPHY
Seek peace. Love others. Give grace.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Community and hospitality are two things I place a high value on. I see couchsurfing as a way to practice these two things by meeting awesome people and being a courteous guest.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've hiked to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, camped, and hiked back. I am enamored by the night sky as seen from dark places.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to show you the basics of photography! Or take you bouldering. I'm not a pro by any means, but I've got a crash pad, chalk bag and spare pair of shoes.
I'd also love for you to tell me stories about your travels and life, if you have time!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to take my hosts out for a nice beer (or a cup of fancy coffee if you're not into alcohol.) I'll also help you do the dishes.
