ABOUT ME

I was born in Japan, lived in the US for a couple of years, but spent most of my life (14 years!) growing up in Hong Kong, before moving to the Philadelphia area for college. My dad's family is from the US with roots in Eastern Europe; my mom's side of the family is originally from China, but is now scattered all across Asia. I like to consider myself a nice Chinese-Jewish girl : ).

Most of the traveling I've done has been to visit family in various locations, but I'm excited to strike out on my own and explore! These days, I'm taking some time off from school to work on organic farms up and down the West Coast and learn about life outside of school. I've met some really interesting folks so far on my travels, and I'm excited to use CS to meet even more people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now as I travel, I'm looking to participate in local CS meet-ups, and maybe even surf. I'll be moving to New York in June to work there for the summer, and will be happy to offer up a couch/floor space at that point.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I registered for CS a while back, but never used it. Now that I'm traveling, I hope that that changes soon!

Interests

Exploring new cities/places, spending too much time/money in bookstores, going on long walks, running, cooking, drinking coffee, having good conversations, yoga, grocery shopping, etc.

Teaching: homestyle Chinese cooking? basic computer programming?

Learn: I'm trying to learn some basics of drawing/sketching, and would love pointers!
