Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet other people from around the world in a more personal setting.

I joined the community originally with the intention to share my home with people who needed it, and gain meaningful interactions with others different from me in the process. I had the opportunity to do so for a short while and loved it. I am no longer hosting for the foreseeable future as I live in student accommodation and no longer have an apartment of my own, but am excited to experience the other side of Couchsurfing as a surfer rather than a host.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into all styles of music, except for American country music that has been produced in the last 40 years. Indie rock (fave), rap, EDM, etc. I am continually open to all varieties of music and love discovering new bands to listen to.

I really enjoy comedy, so watch out for my punny jokes. In conclusion, I would say I am probably not very funny to anyone but me, but I love watching people who are.

I don't really watch TV, but when I do, I'm all in. Some favorite shows of mine include GoT, HIMYM, and SNL. I waited on Keenan Thompson once (He was on All That and is a long-standing cast member on SNL), which was kind of a dream come true.

I like fiction that explores contemporary societal issues/themes/ideas. I also enjoy non-fiction which educates me on something new.
