About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live extraordinarily.

ABOUT ME

I like being barefoot, just not on really prickly grass. My favorite part of living near the beach has been the twice-weekly volleyball games. I teach yoga and exercise for my living and for my life. It just feels better! I started ballet classes this year and love it, even though I am older (by three times) and taller (by a foot) than the rest of the girls.

I'm trying to be more of a gadget person, but it's not taking. Except for kitchen appliances. I love a good blender...I love making coconut milk, peanut butter, salsa, hummus, and other semi-smooth-textured things to eat.

PHILOSOPHY

Be here now. Be kind. Appreciate everything. The world is as accessible as you make it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted and surfed, and I love it. Some of my dearest travel experiences have been directly related to my wonderful hosts, and I love to create a similar experience for travelers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I discovered couchsurfing many years ago after joining hospitalityclub, and I've had the pleasure of staying with several hosts in several countries. It has been a wonderful experience, and I loved hosting when I was in CO. We are getting ready to leave Panama, but once we get settled in Colombia we'll be up for hosting again!
