I'm very concerned as to where we're going on this planet and have long been involved in the environmental/feminist movement. Everything is politics! I've also got a long record of cultural engagements such as playing in bands or theatres. Right now i'm in a dance troup performing shows of lindyhop and the like. Very fun! I'm curious, naive, restless, calm, joyful and serious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing has enhanced so many of my travels that I automatically look for CS-ers to meet up with when going somewhere new. I also find it luxurious to be able to get a piece of the big world inte my own home by hosting surfers myself.

Movies: Amelie from Montmartre, old black and white movies, The search for the holy grale (monty python), Willow.. I like to watch movies from different countries.
Music: Retro, jazz, afro funk, world music, motown soul, indie pop, brit pop, classical.. For exemple the beatles, fela kuti, buena vista social club, franz ferdinand, manu chao, ella fitzgerald, glenn miller, tchaikovsky, the supremes, aretha franklin, mando diao, kaiser chiefs.....
Books: My father owns a bookshop with tons of old, dusty antiquarial items. Thus, I've grown to love old books, I think the language in them often is more interesting.
