About Me

Hi everyone, I'm Amanda, brazilian, a traveler and a dreamer :)

My first solo trip was in 2018, on holiday from work and I was completely in love with the experience - to meet special places and people, to get to know other versions of myself, to develop skills I didn't realise I had, to open myself up to experiences and, above all, to learn to flow and trust in the flow of life. Since then, every time I travelled, I had even more the desire of traveling and in April 2022 I decided to leave the apartment I was living in in São Paulo to give myself over to this real dream.

I became a nomad in 2022, at the beginning I traveled only in my country, but this year I found courage to explore the rest of the world and because I always wanted to discover Europe, here I am 🌍

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The most important part of travelling for me is making connections with special people. I've met a lot of amazing people through volunteering, staying in hostels and I've also had the opportunity to meet these nice people again, either as a guest or by welcoming them into my home (when I had a house hehehe).
So I thought it would be a good idea to open myself up to this new experience that Couchsurfing can offer to make more friends :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I followed my dream of traveling around the world 🌎

Teach, Learn, Share

There is a brazilian song that says "e pela lei natural dos encontros, eu deixo e recebo um tanto", which means that naturally all people that we meet, we leave and receive something and I think this exchange is a beautiful part of the journey!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My kindness, my smile, good conversations :)

I like to meet new people, but I also understand that the owners probably have their own routine, so I respect you, your time and your place.
