ABOUT ME

I am warm, open minded, full of laughter, nerdy and unashamed of it. I love all people and enjoy conversations about life, politics, the human condition, food, gender, sexuality and many other things.

I grew up in the San Francisco bay area so I have been exposed to a very wide range of racial diversity, socioeconomic conditions, political beliefs, sexual preferences and identity and i am comfortable with them all.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that we are each responsible for our selves and it is up to each of us to treat one another with kindness.

I have visited many friends who live across the country over the years and have graced their couches and they mine many times.

My taste in music is very wide but here is a short list of things that I have listened to recently; MIA, Queen, T-rex, Animal collective, Gillian Welch, Tom Waits, Billy Holiday, Kate Bush, David Bowie, Velvet Underground, the Books, Radiohead, Bjork, Neko Case, Mirha, Coco Rosie, Heart, Johny Cash, girltalk, Nirvana, Fleet wood Mac, songs for moms, Grass Widow, Okay. I like hip hop, dance music, country, pop, jazz, noise and experimental music, punk, rock and folk music.

Movies: Coen Brothers, early John Cusack, The Labyrinth, David Lynch, some John Waters, The Big Lebowski is a good comfort/background movie,

I don't really watch tv but i am currently a total True Blood junkie.
