A spontaneous trip to London!! I have fallen in love with British Mystery audio books in the last couple years and I can think of nothing I want to do more than go to a tea house and listen with a dopey grin on my face. And what a change- to go to where my ancestors are from, and I speak the same language! I’ll be doing research to write my own book!

so I’ve been away from my love of different cultures for a couple years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had such great experiences couchsurfing in Europe, SE Asia, Australia, and New Zealand!! From new-born kittens to cuddle with, homemade dinners, and nights on the beach to penthouse crash-pads it has all been full of heart-warming stays and beautiful new perspectives on the people of the world.
Also, I traveled a couple times on the bill of a person with money to spend on hotels and I did not like it one bit compared to staying with locals!

I love movies with good acting and a good ending unless the artsiness of it is just so good that it doesn't matter.

I’m currently listening to The Book Thief on audio (amazing narrator, and from the perspective of Death, very cool) and just finished The Silent Patient in paper form (Oo oo twist ending).
Elizabeth Gilbert really impressed me with Big Magic. Robert Galbraith isssssss the best. I know, I’m an English-o-file/total dork.
