Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I can be a bit shy around strangers, so when I first heard of Couchsurfing I didn't think it would be for me. But with my high school's exchange program I got to live with a family in France and a Portuguese family in Iceland, as well as host them when they visited Sweden.
What I loved about these weeks spent in France and Iceland was that you get a totally different perspective than you do when you travel as a regular tourist. I'm hoping to get the same experience through Couchsurfing.

Interests

I like books, though I don't read as frequently as I used to. I like movies and TV-series, and going to the cinema with friends.
I occasionally write stuff.
I like to go for walks. I like talking to people, friends and strangers, and I love listening to people talk about things they're passionate about.
I obviously like travelling and I find it interesting to experience different cultures. I'm also at the gym most days and have recently gotten more into powerlifting so it would be great fun if someone would like to gym with me!
I like a great many things, and I'm probably forgetting at least half of them, the way you do when someone asks. But I hope this will suffice for now.
