Community-driven and people-focused. I love connecting folks, building others up, and creating spaces where people feel welcome.

I recently returned to Couchsurfing after a few years away, craving that old-school CS connection. But it has changed a changed a lot over the years.

In 2024, I left Canada and my career of 15+ years in substance use and mental health after experiencing extreme burnout and fatigue. Now, I’m carving a new path, running my own small business helping others with resumes, career growth, connection, and launching their own ventures. (If that’s something you need help with, let’s connect!)

Couchsurfing has spoiled me with incredible encounters everywhere I go. I hope to keep paying that forward.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I first surfed in Iceland in 2011 and have been hooked ever since! In Canada I did my best to host when I can and make those feel welcome and try to give a true West Coast experience!

Nothing but the best hospitality in the world!! Great friends have been made!

Interessen

camping, hitch-hiking, road trips, urban exploring, graffiti, thrifting, sailing, wandering, dreaming, beach combing, picnics, potlucks, waterfalls, gardening, crafting, cocktails, and live music. (mainly post punk, ambient, shoegaze, punk, psychedelic, stoner rock, doom, folk, bluegrass, soul, dark cabaret, reggae). Coffee and cigarettes too!

I've low-key lost the joy in reading and never really dug movies. If I'm watching something is likely foreign and old. And music is so important it's listed above.

I can never stop talking about decolonization and Reconciliation. Colonization in Canada , systemic racism, prohibition, trauma informed care, and Indigenous harm reduction, which I think applied to anywhere you go. People need to feel connected to heal.

It's been amazing to share conversations an have folks be interested. In Canada we still have to navigate residential schools denialism.
