About Me

Hi! I'm studying at the University of Sherbrooke (Québec) at the bachelor in Environmental studies. I've been doing some international cooperation experiences in the past years and am currently in exchange in Lausanne.

I have a creative personality, I live to discover and experiment (new cultures, places, ways to think or to do, etc.) and share (ideas, feelings, food, etc.) and I am very social.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's all about traveling, meeting some nice people and sharing, with trust and respect.
As soon as I have a nice flat elsewhere than Sherbrooke (my home city is not really the kind you get SO excited about visiting though) I would like to be a host for couch surfers.

Music, Movies, and Books

The movie I watched the most (4 times in total) is Mr Nobody with Jared Leto.
The latest one I watched (it took me three subsequent moments) was Palmieras en la nieve and it was... well, emotionally intense.

I looooove indie/folk/pop rock music
Here are some of my more recent obsessions:
-Ophelia - The Lumineers
-Firestone - Kygo
-Third of May - Fleet Foxes

I love the books from les éditions Écosociété, everytime I scroll down their catalogue I wish I could buy them all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-I went in East Africa for four months for an agricultural & sustainable development internship in 2016, in Tanzania!

Do I really have to choose only one?

-Snorkeling in the Indian Ocean near Zanzibar (actually being at Paje beach on Zanzibar was amazing too)
-Caving at Aubonne, Switzerland
-Sandboarding in Huacachina, Peru
-Hiking in the Usambaras for six days
-Hiking to the Laguna 69 in Peru
-Living for three months with a peruvian family (I really felt like I was a part of it)

etc. etc.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to practice my Swahili (Mambo?)
and also German (Wie heisst due is the only thing I can remember from my 1h45 class... oh, and nein.)
I want to hear about your trips anywhere in the world, it gives me ideas :)
Sharing zero waste diys, and ideas of how to build a better world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

We have an (amazing) family recipe for crepes.
I love cooking collectively.
I would love to share smiles and positivism. :)
I can pet your cat (I'm definitely a crazy cat person) or your dog over and over again.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bolivia, Canada, France, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Peru, Spain, Tanzania, Tunisia, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
