Call me Amy if you want. Yeah, since I travel and meet people from everywhere, I noticed that my name can be pretty hard to say...

Let's say that I'm a new member but not really on CS. How ? Because until now, I used CS with my friend Alice Battarel while we were travelling together (since 2012). Thanks to her, I met such amazing people who deeply change the way I live travels. So, time has FINALLY come for me to write my own profile, build my own story and share what I can share :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I started in 2012 during a trip in the East of Europe. It's been a long time now, but it was the first time that nothing was really planed for me. We arrived and that person opened his house and his mind so widely. I was just suprised ! How easy it was to meet someone, spend time with, discover the city through his eyes, laugh, exchange ideas and ways of thinking, find out that we love the same band, hang out... Since that time, I am addicted to that feeling of learning and sharing with a person I just met a few hours before. This is definitely the best way to discover the world !

Currently travelling around the world for 1 year, I hope that I would be able to give back anyway when I'll be at home.

兴趣

My interests are many and different. I don't have one passion, so I try to touch to almost everything I can until I'll know what's really inspiring me. I'm open-minded to any field (except everything related to mathematics I guess).

Anyway, I love dancing, running (I've practiced athletics), talking about music, culture, politics sometimes or anything else, listening to Brazilian portuguese even if I don't understand a single word (they sing when they speak), tasting different kind of meals and drinks, looking at a wonderful landscape for hours... I'm a big dreamer, but I try hard to live my dreams and enjoy simple things.

Since September 2015 and until next August 2016, I travel for 1 year with my friend Alice. We are running a big project : discover Southeast Asia and South America through the amazing world of innovation ! It's really interesting because thanks to that, we meet incredible people with crazy and creative ideas. But, it also means that we have to do some work at the same time we travel...

I listen to Paolo Nutini, Leon Bridges, Amy Winehouse, Angus and Julia Stone, Muse, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, Alicia Keys, Lenny Kravitz, Ben Harper, RHCP, Brett Dennen, Bon Iver, Coldplay, Devendra Banhart, Benjamin Clementine, Lauryn Hill, Selah Sue, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Of Monsters and Men, Bob Marley of course, Horace Andy and many other...

Movies.
Ruby Sparks, Big Fish, Memoirs of a geisha, Shutter Island, Eternal Sunshine Of Spotless Mind, Inception, About time, Upside down, Half Nelson, The Help, La Môme, The Butler, Fight Club, Catch Me If You Can, Forrest Gump, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button... I love movies that really move your feelings or thoughts.

Books.
Unfortunately, I haven't read a lot these last years. But the Millenium Trilogy was something ! Now, I'm travelling with a classic one, The Alchemist.
