About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world while I am still young, meet new people and make memories for life.

ABOUT ME

I am from France, lived in the US for 5 years, London for 7 months and am currently on a World Trip with my boyfriend, Remi. We started this trip in January 2017, in Thailand, and are in Australia at the moment. After spending one year here, we will then be heading to New Zealand, South-East Asia, and South America.

You can see Remi's profile here --> https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/1006071831

You can follow our adventure on our website : https://frogtrottersblog.wordpress.com/
or our facebook : https://www.facebook.com/Frogtrotters/

I love to travel and I do consider myself as an adventurer, as my idea of a great trip involves some backpacking, hiking and camping rather than swimming pools and expensive hotels (even though I would not say NO to a day or two of pure laziness by the pool). I have been to a fair amount of places but am planning on visiting many many more! I also love photography and my camera is my best friend in each of my trips. I consider myself as a friendly person, open-minded, always up to meet new people, explore a new city, or just find a nice spot outside and sit there with a good book.

PHILOSOPHY

Always follow your dreams, and never give up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couchsurfing experience in 2014 in California and I loved it. It was great getting to know new people and be able to interact in their own environment, meet their friends and share our own experiences. I got the chance to couchsurf in Australia in the summer 2015 with a friend of mine, where we were hosted by over 10 amazing different hosts around the country. I will never be thankful enough for every moment spent with each of them, that really turned our Australian trip into a great experience.
Remi and I hosted some couchsurfers in the summer 2016, while I was living in Paris. It was great to have people from other countries over and to visit this beautiful city with them ! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being able to move to the US when I was 18 is probably the most amazing thing that I've done, because it really allowed me to grow up in a foreign environment, and to learn a new language, culture, way of life, that I would have never experienced by staying in my home country.

Seeing the Grand Canyon in Arizona with my own eyes, and realizing how incredible the planet Earth is.

Travelling around Australia during 2 months, meeting amazing people along the road, sailing in the WhitSunday Islands, swimming with turtles in the Great Barrier Reef, holding a koala...

Go scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef and swim with a sea turtle.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love meeting people who have traveled around the world, because I think there is nothing more important than being able to learn and share other cultures. Learning about the world around us is what makes us stronger in a globalized world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can definitely share some travelling stories, teach you some French or even cook something for you (usually Crepes, and they are fun and easy to make :) )

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Bahamas, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States
