Hello! Sorry, I don’t like keeping it short, I like keeping it real. I’m looking to meet real people and experience genuine connections that transcend culture, geography, and worldviews.

About me:

I think of myself as an easygoing, maybe funny and maybe silly person. I take things lightly and try to find humor and fun in everything. I may sound sarcastic and mean at times but making fun of things and provoking people to respond to stuff is how I get to know people. Once you get to know me, you realize I’m a very friendly person and don’t mean all the mean and sarcastic things I say 😄

Currently:
Trying to visit as much of Europe and Middle East as possible.

What I do for living:

I’m currently working for an international company that uses computational and physics-based methods to do materials science research and drug discovery in Mannheim. But I’m an IT person not a health sciences person.

School stuff:

Music:

I usually tune in to upbeat tropical house music, old school reggae, some Ethio Jazz, Ethiopian Pop, and some Rap/Trap.

My go to favorites are Ed Sheeran, Bob Marley, Kygo, Lij Michael, J. Cole and Adele

Movies:

I enjoyed Prison Break, Breaking Bad, Friends and Big Bang Theory a lot. I also used to binge watch some US Late Night Shows of Trever Noah and Stephen Colbert. I love documentaries, but I’m rarely in the mood. I watched Our Planet and Dirty Money in Netflix. I also like Horror movies with group of friends.

Books:

Some of the books I really enjoyed are Purpose Driven Life, Born A Crime, Midnight Memories, Nothing Lasts Forever, Tell Me Your Dreams.

I prefer Audio Books. Masters of Scale and Planet Money are my favorite podcasts.

CS Preference:

Can be independent or do things in groups. I can be talkative, I can also be quiet and chill.

One of the amazing things I have done is visiting the Blue Nile River from its source in Ethiopia. It was magical to see start of world’s second longest river.

I’m learning Deutsch and I only started recently. Some languages that I’ve always wanted to learn are Italian and Arabic.
