Overview
About Me
I come from a family of bakers in Surat—50-year-old legacy that keeps me grounded. My work needs discipline and responsibility, but my true personality belongs to the road.
I am more of an offbeat and rough traveler. I prefer difficult paths and remote places where common people don't reach easily. I carry a camera to capture these moments only for my joy, not for any social media race. I'm here to see the soul of a city and its history, not the tourist traps.
Important: I am here to build true human connections and travel friendships.
Not hosting right now due to busy work life, but always down to meet up, buy a coffee, or help fellow travelers with local advice. I value honesty over politeness and deep conversations over small talk. If you’re a like-minded explorer passing through, hit me up.
PS : Words are mines rewrite by ChatGPT :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here to bridge the gap. Whenever I find time between work or travel, I prefer meeting people from this community—whether it’s in my own city or while I'm on the road.
There is a completely different energy when you meet someone from CS compared to 'normal' people or friends. The conversations are deeper, the perspectives are wider, and you feel more open. It makes the world feel a lot smaller and more connected.
Interests
Photography is my way of seeing; travel is the only way to find what's worth seeing. I don't chase 'aesthetics'—I chase extraordinary moments and offbeat trails that common people usually avoid.
For me, the best part of any journey is the deep connection with fellow wanderers. There is something special about sharing stories and adventures with people who actually understand the soul of a place. It makes the world feel smaller and more connected.
I capture these moments for my own joy, but I love sharing the frames with those who appreciate the depth behind a photograph. You can see my visual journey here: instagram.com/Amar.wander.lens/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
took my body and my camera to some of the most extreme climates on Earth to see what lies beyond the comfort zone. I’ve driven over 50,000 km across unknown paths and borders where 'common' travelers rarely go.
Whether it was the winter stillness of Lake Baikal or navigating difficult terrains across India, every mile taught me more about myself than any city life ever could. Pushing my limits against the elements is where I found my true strength.
Teach, Learn, Share
For me, learning is the art of meeting people. When we open ourselves to strangers, we accept them fully and become ready to share experiences in a true, honest way.
My travels to remote parts of the world have taught me a very different approach to life—one that is far away from the 'race' most people are running. I’m here to share those raw stories and learn from yours.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I may not host often nowadays, but I love helping travelers — showing them around, guiding them locally, and sharing contacts or tips to support their journey ahead.
