HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can offer a long couch from time to time. I have surfed in 3 continents.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I travelled through Western Europe in 2011 for 3 weeks, and S. America in 2012 for 5 weeks, only thanks to several gracious couchsurfing hosts. It was wonderful!

Jogging, reading, hiking, snowboarding, dancing, opera, capoeira, ice skating, vegan food, exploring new places.

Movies: Juno, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Amelie, John Hughes 80s movies, good comedies (my recent favorites are Step Brothers and The Hangover)...
Music: Alternative/Gothic/80s/Classic rock, Latin (Salsa, Samba, Bossa Nova), classical, opera (I went to the Metropolitan Opera 4 times this year and love it), metal. I used to host a gothic/industrial/metal/80s radio show for 7 years.
Books: The Alchemist, The Time-Traveler's Wife...

Surfing in Hawaii and Costa Rica. Motorcycle ride through the White Mountains in New England.

I can teach English, a bit about vegetarian cooking and baking, and pet care. I'd love to learn more Spanish and Portuguese and dancing.

I'm interested in learning more about holistic and energy healing (for people and pets). I'd like to learn more about singing, electric bass and piano as well as painting, photography and sculpture.
