About Me

CouchSurfing CURRENT MISSION

Let's save our blue planet!

ABOUT ME

I keep on following my dreams like an explorer. I really like photography and doing sports. Especially athletics and taking my bicycle to actually all places I can! Nature is my passion: animals or plants, it's all amazing.

PHILOSOPHY

The Dreaming time!
The beginning of all things; the life and influence of the ancestors; the way of life and death; and sources of power in life, because it is a condition beyond time and space where all things exist at once; It's only then when we can pass on a healthy planet to the next generation.

When traveling…
"Do just what you think you can't do, explore the world and you will never pay attention to your limitations again".
(Captain James Cook, 1776)

Our common future?
"Only after the last tree has been cut down,
Only after the last river has been poisoned,
Only after the last fish has been caught,
Only after the last cultivated land has been wasted,
Only after the last animal has been hunted,
Only then will you find that money cannot be eaten."
(2009)

Leave the oil in the soil,
leave the coal in the hole,
leave the tar sands in the land.
(Nmimo Bassey, Klimaforum 09)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After a long break from CS my place is now open to surfers! Get yourself to Aachen, Germany :)

I have hosted many Couchsurfers and surfed couches at hosts who were absolutely incredible.

Keep on surfing, keep on dreaming on couches.

Interests

I do everything to save the environment: Mostly trying to educate kids to care about nature since they're the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

One particular thought I always have:

"I had an ambition not only to go farther than any man had ever been before, but as far as it was possible for a man to go".
(Captain James Cook, 1776)

Some inspiring books:
The diaries of Captain James Cook
The travel journey of Dr Banks
The voyage of the Beagle
Jules Verne

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are too many amazing things too describe. Most of them are related to my close connection to animals, plants and travelling :)

Teach, Learn, Share

- Who can teach me Swedish? I can teach you another language!
- Who can teach me rock climbing? I can be your climbing buddy!
- Who wants to share info about an environmental problem in their neighbourhood? Together we can take action!
