ABOUT ME
It is not easy to summarize one's self. If you want to understand what type of person I am, my references and friends would be your best resources. But we'll give it a shot anyways.
I was born and raised in a quirky small town called Los Alamos, and I'm back home working since graduating with a degree in History and Poli Sci from New Mexico State University. I can be a bit quite at times (sometimes I just don't have anything to say), but when I do start talking getting me to shut-up is tricky. Additionally, I'm starting law school in August (don't judge me).
Overall, I'm quite laid-back and I love meeting new and interesting people from all walks of life.
What I enjoy: the little things in life, cooking dinner with friends, rock climbing (haven't gone in a long time, though), soccer, backpacking, trail running, and mornings (yeah I'm a morning person... weird).
PHILOSOPHY
What I strive to do: not plan my life too much (I have a habit of doing that), be thankful for what I have, find fulfillment in the more simple things in life, and to love my fellow human beings as much as I possibly can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I have an available couch I host surfers with open arms, and when I surf I always strive to be as courteous and respectful as possible.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Spending time with my amazing hosts Andre and Fernanda in Dublin, and parading through the city streets on Halloween weekend with a band of ghouls and goblins.
Interests
A whole lot of things interest me. If I had to narrow it down it would be history, film, traveling, international relations, and psychology.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I enjoy listening to all genres of music - progressive metal, classical, Celtic, jazz, contemporary folk, alternative, you name it.
Movies: I love to watch films and I enjoy all types, but I am picky about what I watch - and honestly borderline pretentious. On one hand, I tend to enjoy more artsy and complex films like Apocalypse Now, Pan's Labyrinth, Orpheus, Roshamon, Lo, Hero, etc., but I still enjoy movies that are plain silly like Air Plain, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Zoolander, Best in Show, Anchorman, etc.
Books: I mainly read the classics slike Crime and Punishment (I figure that if I'm going to commit myself to an entire novel it better be good), but sometimes I'll try a contemporary novel, or even read some poetry.
