I used to live in New York and I live in Kampala now. Three things define me quite accurately I think: passion, love and ambition. I've always wanted more of life- for the people in my life, for myself even. I see more colours than there are. I dream bigger dreams than I can contain. I love to laugh and dance and write music and question and dig deep into people's minds and hearts. People fascinate me. Psychology and philosophy intrigue me. I quite enjoy people. And I also enjoy solitude. Life is a big adventure and mystery that intrigues me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's my dream to backpack through all of the world's countries (especially those that are safe for women haha :p) so if I can make life easier for some travelers as I wait my time and the opportunity to explore the world, I wanna be able to help people that need a place to live. :)

I love people and cultural exchange and learning different languages and experiencing different cuisines etc. (hint hint ;) I'd love to learn some new recipes and languages so please plan to cook at least once and teach me how to say 2 thing in your language if you can :D ! I look forward to learning and expanding my mind by encountering different cultures and lifestyles!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is the love of my life. Im open to most genres but selective as far as content. I love music that's breath-taking. You know the kind that simply sweeps you off your feet for one reason or another: either it's so fun that you want to dance and have a good time, or its so deep and sweet that you just wanna sit back and take it in. I like music that makes me feel something. But I can't stand disrespectful music. Hi trap & some genres of hiphop :/

Some of my favorite musicians include John Legend, Hillsong United, Asa, Corinne Bailey Rae and John Mayer.

My favorite book right now is Americana!! :O check it out if you haven't.

I tend to forget movie titles but I've decided I really like French films. And my faves are Amélie, Le Chef and I can't remember the rest. The German "Run lola Run" is also a favorite of mine!

My fave TV shows of all time will have to be: Fresh Off The Boat, Jane the Virgin, Limitless, Dirk Gently's Hollistic Detective Agency (more recently), Burn Notice, Breaking Bad, How I Met Your Mother and I've forgotten the other two. :( see what I said, I'm so bad at recalling titles. :/

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam in caves in the the Pacific Ocean and jumped from a cliff (not too high but still frightening) into the ocean during that trip. This was amazing because I'm not the greatest swimmer so it was quite the risk, and also, I had to overcome the fear of running into snakes for instance in the ocean.haha I do have a phobia for reptiles so that was quite something :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some basic guitar chords, a few words in any of the languages I speak, how to smile :p and I don't know really. Um. How to enjoy life I guess? Oh yeah. I can also show you how to have a fun time sober ;) since I barely drink (I really enjoy sweet Red Wine and Roses only), don't smoke at all or partake of any substance and yet I think I'm probably one of the funnest people I know :p

I nerd out about branding so I could totally share that, but most of all, I would love to get to know you if the time allows. (I get super busy with work lately and am barely home but hopefully it's different while you're around)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my living room couch, cushions and a mat on the floor. I also have sheets and a blanket that you can use, and kitchen appliances to make your stay more affordable and hopefully more pleasant too. Feel free to cook :)

I can share some food here and there and play you a song or three if you'd like and if the mood permits.
